Choriomon is a medicine used to improve ovulation in women with infertility. The active ingredient in Choriomon is Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin or HCG, which helps to increase ovulation by suppressing luteinizing hormone response to gonadotrophin-releasing hormone. Choriomon is given as an intravenous injection or a subcutaneous injection into the patient. HCG is also by some patients with obesity to aid weight loss.

Choriomon contains 5000 IU of HCG per pack, along with the required solution for injection. These are packaged in two seperate vials that will need mixing prior to administration via an injection into the muscle (intramuscular) or under the skin (subcutaneous).

Follow these steps to administer Choriomon: draw the liquid into the syringe, inject the liquid into the ampoule containing the powder, thoroughly mix these together until the powder is completely dissolved, draw the mixed solution back into the syringe, make sure any air bubbles are removed prior to injection, inject the solution into the muscle or under the skin.

The combined liquid and powder must remain refrigerated when not in use. It will expire 40 days after being mixed.
